This is the USA edition of "14才," published by Midnight Library (Tokyo) in 2016. These ten images were exhibited in Portland, Oregon in 2017. "Like all cities, Tokyo is a mirror of and for its residents. So, whether I am photographing the people or the scenery here, I am dealing with essentially the same subject matter. 14 million people live in Tokyo. Yet, when I took these photos, everyone seemed to be hibernating!" -Kisara Okada
